Obsession with the Scale

Hey beautiful/handsome, this time I will be talking about the obsession that I used to have with my scale.

Growing up I  was obsessed with weighing myself. I would weigh myself constantly even multiple times per day. Note that this is not healthy at all considering weight fluctuates throughout the day and week. If you are going to weigh yourself have it be nor more than once a week  around the time time/day.

I was obsessed with the number on the scale because if it went down, then I was doing good and losing weight but if it went up, I would torment myself for gaining weight and getting fatter. As I mentioned weight changes throughout the day for many different reasons. Making it unhealthy to weigh yourself multiple times in a day and even in a week.

Weighing yourself can be a great thing if you want to know what your weight is. On the other hand it could be detrimental if you fall into unhealthy patterns like I did. Just remember weight is just a number. If you don’t like the number you have the ability to change it but it should be in a healthy way.

No matter what the number on the scale is (big or small) you are beautiful/handsome and you are worth so much more than that number. ❤

I REFUSE To Apologize For Being FAT

Hey beautiful/handsome! Hope you are doing well!

This time around I wanted to talk about not apologizing for being fat. I used to apologize and that is wrong. No one should apologize for who they are and how they live their lives. If someone can’t accept you for who you are maybe you should check and look at who you hang out with.

We are all different and look different and there is nothing wrong with that at all. Love yourself and your body and accept yourself. If you want to make changes to your body, do it for you and not for anyone else.

If you hang out with someone who makes you feel bad for who you are, why keep that toxic negativity in your life? Not saying you have to disown your friends, but if you can’t be or feel accepted, there is something wrong there.

No matter what anyone says remember to love yourself, love your body, and remember no matter what anyone says you are beautiful or handsome just the way you are!

Who Says You Can’t Wear Prints While Plus Sized?

Hey beautiful/handsome! Hope you are doing well!

I wanted to write this post because I have been told so many times to avoid wearing prints on my clothes because it makes me look bigger and draws more attention to my body.

I just want to say that I don’t care if a print makes me look bigger or draws more attention to me. If something is cute and I like it, I will wear it.

I wanted to say this because I personally know people who avoid wearing prints because they fear this exact reason (looking bigger and more attention on their bodies).

Ladies, gents and and all those reading this if you like something, wear it and flaunt it. Life is way too short to not wear something you like because you are worried what others think or what others will say. Don’t focus so much on worrying about looking bigger or having more attention on you!

  7. Fat girls can wear clothes that are form fitting
  8. Fat girls can wear clothes that show their bellies/arms/thighs/etc

Working out to Fitness Marshall *PCOS TALK*

Hey beautiful/handsome! Hope you are doing well!

So many people have been asking me lately what I like to do what workouts since I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I am planning on making a video with more in depth detail about this in the very near future!

I also like to do squats and lift weights!

PCOS is no joke and let’s be real it sucks. Weight gain is common, excess facial and body hair is common, and so is lack of weight loss and so many other symptoms.

Up until July of 2015 I was always unable to lose weight and it sucked because I was eating healthy and exercising and saw no results other than weight gain….

Now that I have this new workout routine I have been somewhat successful with some weight loss.

I know some people in the BOPO (Body Positive) Community are against weight loss (some definitely are not against it – but some are) I think it’s important no matter what part of that you believe in  that exercise is super important for anyone.

Whether you are trying to maintain or lose weight or just be active exercise is essential for healthy living (at least it is for me, might not be for everyone).

If you have PCOS like me (or are looking for a new exercise routine) I recommend checking out Fitness Marshall on YouTube because it is super fun and addicting!
